Private Counselling in Bristol- Anxiety, Stress, & More

In person at The Treatment Rooms, Park Row and online throughout the week.

A Space That's Just For You

My private practice is at The Treatment Rooms on Park Row in Bristol — a calm, comfortable space in the city centre where we can work together without interruption.

I offer weekly or fortnightly sessions, short or longer-term support, and a choice of in-person, online or telephone appointments. Whatever works best for you, we'll figure it out together.

People come to me with all kinds of things — anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, bereavement, relationship difficulties, low confidence, and more. You don't need to arrive with a clear diagnosis or a neat explanation of what's wrong. Sometimes people just know that something isn't right and they're ready to talk about it.

If that's you, get in touch. The first call is free and there's no obligation to continue.

You might be here because…

There's no single reason people come to therapy. Most people I work with aren't in crisis — they're tired, stuck, or carrying something they've been managing alone for too long.

→ You're anxious and you're not entirely sure why

→ You're burning out and you can't seem to slow down

→ Your confidence has taken a hit and you don't feel like yourself

→ You've been told you have ADHD and you're still figuring out what that means

→ You're going through a difficult transition — a relationship, a job, a loss

→ You're a people-pleaser and it's exhausting

→ You've tried managing this alone and you're ready to try something different

I work with adults and young people aged 11 and over. If you're not sure whether I'm the right fit, the consultation call is free no obligation, just a conversation.

Our sessions will be

personalised

In our initial session, we'll take the time to get to know you, exploring your unique needs, personal history, and therapeutic goals. This session is an opportunity to establish a comfortable and trusting foundation for our work together, ensuring that your therapy is tailored to support your specific journey.

integrative

Everyone has different needs, and different approaches work for different people. I draw on many counselling modalities, including; Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Using creative therapies and developing mindfulness strategies to help you feel empowered and in control.

collaborative

I’ll work closely and collaboratively with you to identify your preferences and tailor our sessions to meet your goals. Through this we will work together to help identify and overcome your challenges.

What to expect

The Free Consultation Call

Before anything else, I offer a free 30-minute phone or video call. This is a chance to ask questions, tell me a little about what's brought you to therapy, and get a sense of whether talking to me feels right. There's no pressure to book a session on the call.

The First Session

The first session is 50 minutes. We'll spend most of it with me getting to know you — your background, what's brought you to therapy now, and what you'd like to be different. By the end we'll have a clearer picture of what working together might look like.

Ongoing Sessions

Sessions are 50 minutes, available weekly or fortnightly. In-person appointments take place at The Treatment Rooms on Park Row in Bristol. Online sessions are available throughout the week via a secure video platform — I'll send you a link before each session, nothing to download.

Reviews and Endings

Every week I will check in with you, with reviews every four and six weeks — looking at what's changing, what still needs attention, and whether the approach needs adjusting.
