My Experience
My experience as a therapist within charities and schools, working with adults, young people, and children, has provided me with a diverse understanding of the challenges individuals face. Prior to my practitioner training, I spent 10 years working with vulnerable adults and children experiencing learning difficulties and adversities, including autism, ADHD, and developmental delays.
I continue to focus on supporting individuals with learning disabilities and other challenges in my current roles within schools and charities. My patient and understanding nature enables me to work effectively with those who may find accessing counselling and other services difficult.
Drawing on both talking and creative therapeutic approaches, I tailor sessions to each individual's needs and welcome a collaborative approach with clients. This ensures that therapy is both accessible and effective.
